ESA WEEK 2013

For the umpteenth time student majoring in English literature, Semarang
State University who are members of the English Students Asosiation hold an
annual event called the ESA WEEK. The event consists of various races such as
speech contest, story telling and writing. The event was held for two categories,
ie for the students and for high school students. The race was held on Saturday
the 1st of June 2013. Activities organized in the halls of the English
department faculty of language and literary arts Semarang State University is
very Lively, is evidenced by the participants who came from various areas,
ranging from all corners of cities in Central Java and even some that come from
the province of Yogyakarta.
For the race was attended by
students from various universities famous in Central Java and Yogyakarta, as
UNNES, Diponegoro University, UGM, STMIK Akakom, UDINUS, etc. PGRI Teachers'
Training College. Not to forget also of UIN Sunan Kalijaga who delegate the fighters
into battle, and certainly if UKM SPBA was appointed by the rector to take care
of things like this.
SPBA sent two contingents to be the
representative face of the race. Two people were sent to attend the speech
contest is Asyhari Amri & Mukti Nurdiyanah, they successfully represent
SPBA through many stages to get rid of dozens of other participants who tried
their luck to try to be a representative of this beloved UIN.
When the race was quite a rivalry
going tight, it makes the participants try as much as possible so that the jury
can give a high value for them and win the race. There were speeches by orators
style, giving rise to a burning spirit, there is also a relaxing and submit it
with humor to make people laugh listening. However the jury is still
appropriate portions, not subjectively. And finally won the title by a contingent
of UDINUS (Nuswantoro Dian University), and once again also contingent of UIN
Sunan Kalijaga have not won the championship, never mind there is still time to
fight better in the future to come.
